Fulham FC Foundation and Barclays, via their Spaces for Sport (BS4S) initiative, contracted with the WRG to assess outcomes associated with their groundbreaking three-year partnership to provide participants with employability training and sport. Targeting youth not in education, employment, or training, the program aims to increase employment opportunities for ~300 16+ year old local UK youth through life skills development (e.g., communications, team work, work-related training, etc.) and sport participation. The merit of the research lies in assessing impacts associated with a socially responsible sport intervention program on a group of community individuals.
Thanks to Fulham FC Foundation and Barclays for the partnership opportunity!
